Spotify button in single release

  • Dorette Gonschorek

    Hi, your new theme Tune is a real nice one. I’m realising a website for a band in these days. But I have some questions. I didn’t find help in the documentation and knowledge base concerning the following issues:

    1. in the section below the footer where your wolfthemes credits are I want to add my own credits and a link to an imprint site. How can I get access to this section?

    2. at the releases I want to use the googleplay field for a link to spotify because googleplay is not so famous in germany. i want to edit the googleplay button but I can’t find the folder where these graphics are stored.

    3. I’d like that there opens a new tab when I click on these buy links at the releases (for example “Chronicles”). It’s not so nice that the user leaves the artist website when he decides to buy something. Where can I change this (add …blank… html code?) ?

    Thanks for your help and best regards Dorette

    Hey there,

    You can change the credits in the customizer footer tab.

    For 2 and 3, please do the following

    1. Update Wolf Discography to 1.4.2
    2. Please install the child theme attached

    Please note that we usually don’t provide support for customization.

    Have a beautiful day!

    PS : Child theme info

    many thanks for your help.

    I understand that customization is not been included in your support. I thought that I could change the jpg/png of the button and the link somewhere in the code on my own and I just didn’t find where.

    I really appreciate your help with the child theme. I uploaded it via ftp but when I activate it in the backend of wordpress, I get the following error message and I can’t even get back to the menu. I have to delete it via ftp.

    Warning: is_writable(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/u01066211426:/usr/lib/sphereconf/fcgi/php56/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin:/tmp:/dev/random:/dev/urandom:/var/sphereconf/apachesess/u01066211426:/usr/lib/sphereconf/fcgi/php56/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20131226:/usr/lib/sphereconf/fcgi/php56/lib/php:/usr/gmagick/bin:/usr/imagick6.4/bin) in /home/u01066211426/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 209

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/u01066211426/public_html/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/misc.php:209) in /home/u01066211426/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1210

    And I have another question. The theme should be responsive, but the display of the used pictures and headings is not nice on mobile phones and tablets. The pictures are cutted strangely and on mobile phones the headings are not shown entirely. Is there a possibilty to optimize the mobile version of the website? You can have a look here:

    Many thanks for your help and best regards

    Hi Dorette,

    These warnings and notices are nothing to worry about on a production site most of the time. We need to keep to keep the compatibility with older versions of WordPress as well as older PHP versions.
    To disable these warnings, please go to your wp-config.php from WordPress root and replace this line:

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);

    with this:

    ini_set(‘error_reporting’, E_ALL );
    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
    define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);

    Please note bellow the field where you added the background image, you have few options for image (cover, responsive, etc). However, please note you cannot have the same look on a 16:9 ratio screen (desktop) and a 4:3 one (mobile).

    Let me know if have other questions or comments.
